This program will be taught by Caresse Bedard Alber. Caresse is a certified esthetician. She worked for several years at In Style with Michelle in the Esthetics studio. Caresse is a busy mom of three kids, who works full time at Custom Covers and who enjoys performing in and being a Board member for the South Huron Community Theatre.

Two dances will be taught each night.
Dances will include the Texas or Country Two-Step, Swing or Jive, Waltz and Foxtrot and the Latin dances: the Cha Cha, Mamba Rhumba, Salsa. You will have a great time and learn something fun in the process.
The class will be taught by Diana Cambridge. Diana is a trained ballroom dance instructor who previously taught at the Fred Astaire Studio in London and Ottawa and at the Sarnia Family YMCA. She recently ran a series of ballroom dance workshops in Port Franks where she lives with her family.

Kevin Bice is an artist, teacher and traveller who has spent his life surrounded by the Arts. He believes strongly that creativity and imagination are part of the definition of what it is to be human. This talk is intended to break down the elitist barriers that are sometimes raised preventing the Arts from being a fundamental part of everyone's life. He will bring some of his own work and share his own approach to making things. For the last thirty years, Kevin has been leading art history and painting tours to France and Italy. He has travelled and painted in France and Ireland but has returned most often to Italy. Favourite Canadian locations include Lake O’Hara, the Gulf Islands, Northern Ontario, the St. Lawrence shore, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
His work can be found in various corporate, public and private collections in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. For more than 25 years, he has participated in the annual London Artists’ Studio Tour which he co-founded.

In this introductory workshop you will create 1 to 2 small wool paintings using fleece from the instructor's sheep. The fleece is dyed and a wide range of colours will inspire your creation. This workshop is the perfect introduction to your creative journey and no experience is necessary. Using natural fibres, allows you to be creative without worry about spilling and any other perceived mistakes. You get to play with your creativity! come make a watercolour painting form wool!
This class will be taught by Pam Carnochan. Pam is a self taught fibre artist with a passion for wool and nature and the combination of both. She started her artistic journey with a love of Watercolour painting and when she combined it with her love of wool and felting she knew she had her voice in the creative world. And when you love to do something it is good to share. Pam is passionate about inspiring others to find their creative voice and hopes her workshop can tap into some of that creativity for others.

Bring a photo of a family member, friend or pet.
No prior drawing experience required.
Come learn how to draw! During this class you will work on and complete a detailed portrait drawing of a family member or pet. Learn techniques for shading and adding depth and texture. Learn how to choose the right image before starting. Learn how to make sure the drawing is to scale and proportional, the importance of good lighting and angles, and drawing with the intent of framing and problem solving when a drawing looks 'off'.
Class supplies include pencils, erasers, case, smudge sticks, quality paper and a folder for travel. Recommended – bring your own sketchbook (any size)

In this one-day Saturday workshop, you will learn all the basic techniques of the copper foil method- cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. Learn about art glass, tools, and good practices as you create a charming suncatcher. You may discover a new passion! Lunch break for one hour: bring a lunch or go out.
This class will be taught by Cherida McCullagh. Cherida has been working with stained glass for 28 years. While living far from home in Ottawa, she took her first stained glass course and has been creating ever since: sun catchers, panels and even cement patio stones.
Cherida lives on her family farm south of Wingham, with her partner, Brian. Together they raise beef cows, pasture raised meat chickens, and enjoy making maple syrup in the spring

This class will be taught by Kathleen Becker. Kathleen is a mom to three kids. She cans and preserves her garden harvests every year and makes all her family’s breads from scratch. Cooking and baking have always fascinated her, teaching herself how to cook and bake and garden through more trial and error than she believed possible. Baking, cooking, and gardening have become a therapeutic passion of Kathleen’s and she hopes they will be come that way for you too.

In this class children and tweens will see the beautiful nature photographs of local photographer Annie Lindenfield. They will hear the stories of how Annie got those incredible shots then they will have a chance to do exactly the same thing by accompanying Annie on a nature trail walk, stopping to take shotes with their cell phone, learning what makes for a great shot and listening to hear bird calls.
Meet at the Park Pavilion.
Kids must bring their own cell phone, knapsack, snacks, drinks, and dress appropriately for a morning outside.
In case of hard rain, the class is cancelled and fees will be refunded to participants.
The class will be taught by Anne Lindenfield who spends many hours hiding out in nature for just that perfect shot. Anne has been taking nature photos for more than two decades and loves the chance to share her passion with others.

In this workshop you will learn what Reiki Energy Healing is and how it works. Our focus will be on the Chakras and their physical, emotional and spiritual relationship to the body. We will discuss how to nurture them with food, essential oils, affirmations and meditation. This will leave you with the tools to work with your own Chakras and support your very own wellbeing.
We will also discuss the benefits of Aromatherapy, the power of essential oils and their impact on the energetic body. You will be able to create your own essential oil rollerball using the process of identifying “notes” and learning how to blend them together.
This class will be taught by Monica DeGroot an Essential Oil Compound Practitioner and Reiki Master/Teacher. Monica was born and raised in the Zurich area. She is the wife of a hard-working farmer and mom/stepmom of four boys. She has worked in education for nearly 13 years, is the founder of Making Scents with Monica, a small business that offers hand crafted essential oil products, macrame and Reiki Energy Healing. What began as a personal journey, beautifully evolved into a way to support her family, friends and others around her.

This class is suitable for anyone – from absolute beginners to those with some previous experience in oil or other mediums. Ages 15 yrs. to adult.
This one-day workshop is meant to be a fun, relaxing and enjoyable introduction to oil painting. It will cover the basics and help students learn to simplify the process of painting in oils. From 10-noon – we will cover the basics and do small quick painting studies on oil paper. After lunch, we will complete, 1- 2 small paintings for you to take home (still life / landscape). The one- day workshop will cover an overview of the oil painting materials you’ll need to get started, care of brushes and materials, guidance on some basic colour mixing and composition, how to do quick value exercises and painting sketches. You will complete a painting in one sitting (alla prima method), and continue on your own.Students are asked to bring your enthusiasm for trying something new, a packed lunch (time will be given to go out if needed), clothes you don’t mind getting paint on and a wide tray or box to take your oil paintings home.
This class will be taught by Jane Roy. Jane is an emerging artist who primarily paints representational landscapes in acrylic and oil. In this workshop we will briefly touch on the history of macrame and how it has transformed over the years. We will learn the art of specific knots and work on creating your very own wall hanging macrame. Choose from a variety of colours and let your personality shine through your very own, woven masterpiece.
